I rarely spend a summer without visiting my home in Torsång, and when I do I love to bring the guitar for a concert in the local church. It’s one of the absolute best acoustics you can wish for and the beauty of the building itself and its surroundings are just fantastic.
This year I gave a solo recital with some newly written arrangements of Swedish folksongs for altgitarr: Visa från Utanmyra (inspired by Jan Johansson’s classic piano version) and Gammal Fäbodpsalm (after Nils Lindberg’s unparalleled version for organ).
