I really like the Sofar initiative that is spreading around the world giving more and more people the chance to experience live music in intimate and unusual spaces. I was asked to perform a programme for Sofar Shanghai celebrating their 10 year anniversary in May and decided to do a fiery Latin America inspired set including works by Roland Dyens, Paulo Bellinati and my own composition “Buenavista” inspired by the coffee district of Colombia.
